2016 Mini Raffle Result

Motorfest RunGavin promoting raffle sales for club mini

The winner of the club project mini was drawn at the club Christmas dinner by a Justice of the peace not associated with the club.
The lucky winner was Ken Clarson from Roseworthy SA. He of course is very happy that he bought a couple of tickets at the club Swap Meet held in September.
Congratulations Ken and we wish you many miles of motoring in the mini. I know a lot of people must be disappointed that they did not have Ken’s luck, the club thanks those of you for purchasing tickets in hope of being the winner.
The restoration of the mini has been a great result both financial and as a training process for members to learn skills to apply to their restorations.
Thank you to those members involved week after week in bringing the mini from what it was to what it ended up being as good as new. Check out the projects section on this site to discover where it started and how it progressed to the end.
Keep a look out for what might be attempted in the future as the ball is still rolling to get another project started once the dust settles especially in Corrie Wakes garage where the mini was transformed.
Special thanks to Corrie Wake for the use of his property and to Trevor Evans for co-ordinating the project.
Members come along and be involved you will definitely learn something useful for your own restoration or maintenance of your old vehicle.

What a return for the club’s shed project (s )….An enormous amount of work done by Gavin and a small number of others, isn’t it always a small number of hard working and dedicated members?,,,Well done and maybe next time,,,a winner for Ron and Barbara, lol
