GVV&CVC Christmas Party 2017

Well it was a top day weather wise for our Club Xmas Picnic held this year at Tanunda.
Unfortunately Lorraine, the event coordinator, couldn’t attend early due to a family illness., but husband Stevey was at the picnic. Also President Steve couldn’t attend due to health problems for him and his favourite old dog who was run over by the ride on mower and spent 4 hours on the Vet table.
We had a nice drive through the Barossa excepting for the Kents who suffered a blown radiator in their 1945 Flying eight Standard and had to have it taken home. By the way, it is not 8 cylinder but a small 8 horse power and we must expect some problems with the older vehicles at times.
The adults enjoyed a good chat under the shade of the gums, whilst the children and Gordon played football and soccer.
Father Xmas arrived about five and was greatly admired as he gave out presents to the children and some adults.
Regards Brewan
